He is targeting additional retail shops for the remaining space, looking for holes in the busy 385/Winchester/Hacks Cross area. “We’re trying to meet all needs,” he said. “It’s going to be very nice.”
Lightman said Centennial Commons’ first openings should occur in October. “JCPenney will be open sooner, but they’re a little bit ahead of everybody else,” Lightman said. Centennial Commons is part of the 300-acre Centennial Park project, which Michael Lightman Realty Co. has been developing for a decade. Centennial Park includes retail stores, medical offices, restaurants, a hotel and apartments.
