1. Kerrville-Rosemark Closed For Rail Maintenance -

Kerrville-Rosemark Road between Old Tipton and Sullivan roads in northern Shelby County will be closed for two days for railroad track maintenance.

The closing begins Tuesday, Feb. 13, and will continue through Wednesday.

5. BankTennessee Breaks Ground In Middle Tennessee -

Collierville-based BankTennessee is breaking ground on a new site in Lebanon, Tenn., later this month that will serve as the bank’s Middle Tennessee headquarters.

The groundbreaking on the 7,200-square-foot headquarters will happen June 25 at the property, a 1.85-acre site across from Lebanon High School. The bank’s announcement of its new presence in the town comes on the heels of a period of growth for BankTennessee, which enjoyed one of the best years in its history in 2012 and is looking to its future by focusing on the secret sauce it’s employed for almost 80 years – a commitment to local service.

6. BankTennessee Adds Controller, Vice President -

BankTennessee has added a few new names to its ranks.

Jason McDoniel has joined BankTennessee as controller, and Mark Nance has joined the bank as a vice president in the bank’s treasury management department.

7. Scharff Elected to Legal Roles at Buckman, Bulab Holdings -

Jonathan Scharff has been elected vice president, legal and general counsel for Buckman and corporate secretary for Bulab Holdings Inc., Buckman’s parent company. Scharff has more than 22 years’ experience in the legal industry, including positions at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale PC in St. Louis and Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh PLLC in Memphis. In his new position, he will oversee legal needs in U.S. and global operating companies and work with associates in preventing and managing legal risks.

8. Flash Market Inc. Finances Shelby Drive Store -

West Memphis-based Flash Market Inc. has financed a Flash Market convenience store and accompanying gas station at 2038 E. Shelby Drive through First National Bank of Wynne for $2.4 million.

9. Elvis Presley Blvd. Market Financed for $3 Million -

Lexington, Tenn.-based Henry Oil Co. of Tennessee has filed a $3 million loan through Paragon National Bank for a convenience store and gas station at 3923 Elvis Presley Blvd. Loan documents list Henry Oil as the grantor and Dodge Brothers Inc. as borrower.
