The Mid-South Transplant Foundation is raising awareness of organ and tissue donation in multicultural communities to kick off Donate Life ECHO (Every Community Has Opportunity to Donate Life).

Through July 21, MSTF is joining organ procurement organizations nationwide in engaging in activities centered on minority communities. The decision of Apple founder Steve Jobs to move to Memphis and await a liver transplant is an opportunity to increase the potential donor pool and educate people about how the highly regulated transplant network works, according to the people who run two key transplant organizations.
