1. Stuttering Foundation's Fraser Honored for Service

Jane Fraser, president of the Memphis-based Stuttering Foundation of America, has received an honorary fellowship from the London-based Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. She was selected for her distinguished service in promoting the profession of speech and language therapy. Fraser, whose father started the nonprofit Stuttering Foundation in 1947, has served as its president since 1981.

The president of the Memphis-based Stuttering Foundation has received a community service award named for her father.
Jane Fraser was honored with the Malcolm Fraser award during the 42nd annual Mid-South Conference on Communicative Disorders. The award is presented annually by the University of Memphis chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association.
