1. Former AD Dickey has Confidence in Fulmer, Pruitt -

Doug Dickey lived and breathed some of Tennessee’s football glory days, and he would like nothing better than to see those days return.

Dickey, 85, retired and living in Jacksonville, Florida, still loves Tennessee football. He coached the Vols to the Litkenhous national championship in 1967 when the Vols finished 9-2. USC, 9-1, was declared the national champs in the AP, Coaches, FWAA and NFF polls.

4. Reveiz Knows What Vols Need to Snap Streak -

Tennessee place-kicker Fuad Reveiz was anxious and nervous much of the week leading up the Vols’ game against Alabama on Oct. 16, 1982.

It was a tall order for the Vols.

Alabama coach Paul “Bear” Bryant had an 11-game winning streak against UT. The Crimson Tide was 5-0, ranked No. 2 in the country and coming off a 42-21 victory against then-No. 3 Penn State.

7. Memphis Touchdown Club Scores With 2015 Speaker Lineup -

Often, the lineup of speakers for the Touchdown Club of Memphis includes one or more coaches on the hot seat. But this season, University of Memphis coach Justin Fuente, Tennessee coach Butch Jones, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze and Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen all are coming off strong seasons.
