7. Company Helps Baptist Give Eyeglasses to Homeless

Davis Vision has begun providing free eyeglasses to homeless people who receive medical care through Baptist Operation Outreach.
About 250 people showed up to have their vision checked and receive health screenings Friday when the company from Plainview, N.Y., and Baptist kicked off the program.

Hennessy will help direct the operations and growth of the nonprofit organization, which provides scholarships and tuition assistance. Hennessy also serves on the Board of Governors of the National Golf Foundation.
