Both the home and away uniforms feature the word “Memphis” across the front, with the “M” being a neon-style, reimagined version of the Memphis Blues logo from the 1970s.

It’s official. The Cheesecake Factory will open one of its signature restaurants at the Wolfchase Galleria.

Wolfchase owner Simon Property Group has applied for a $4.2 million building permit to erect a Cheesecake Factory inside the Cordova Mall at 2760 N. Germantown Parkway. The application said it was for “tenant improvement” and lists the tenant as The Cheesecake Factory. The architect is listed as Craig D. Oka and the engineer is listed as James Lascola.

6. FedEx Wants to Explore ‘Final Frontier’ -

FedEx announced one of its newest – and more unusual sounding ventures – with a cheeky tweet.

“Meet the FedEx Space Solutions team,” the company declared on Twitter in recent days, formally unveiling a new venture focused on the commercial space industry. Perhaps recognizing the implications, the company concluded the tweet by promising, “Yep, you read it right!”

7. Retail Therapy -

The retail business has been described in recent times as Darwinian in nature to those in the industry, meaning formats come and go as competition intensifies each year.

That concept is apparent in retail chains having trouble finding the best real estate for new locations as antiquated strip centers retain high vacancies. Or in the resurgence of upscale retailers, while dollar stores are simultaneously expanding at a rapid clip.
