Soul and R&B singer Betty Wright influenced the work of many artists with her 1970s hit "Clean Up Woman." Artists such as Mary J. Blige and the R&B trio, SWV, later sampled from the 1971 release.
Now its influence apparently reaches beyond music. Two Walls, Miss., women, Sara Manues and Janice Ward, are behind The Cleanup Women, a new small business offering post-construction cleanup services to make new homes attractive to potential buyers.
