SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Americans will pay more for pre-cut Christmas trees this year as shortages deepen from the country's top two producers, Oregon and North Carolina.

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) – Carmaker Mercedes-Benz announced Thursday that it will invest $1 billion to set up electric vehicle production at its Tuscaloosa, Alabama plant and to build a battery factory nearby, moves it said would create 600 new jobs.

The owner of the 160,180-square-foot warehouse at 870 Keough Road in Collierville has filed a $3.1 million loan on the property, which houses Nashville-based millwork manufacturing and distribution company Central Woodwork.

M&F Business Credit Inc., an affiliate of M&F Bank, has sold a pair of neighboring warehouses in unincorporated Shelby County near Cordova after foreclosing on the properties in 2009.

23. Cordova Warehouse Sold Following Foreclosure -

The 111,280-square-foot warehouse at 9525 Macon Road in Cordova was sold back to the lender, M&F Business Credit Inc., for $1.9 million following a foreclosure of the property. It sold on the steps of the Shelby County Courthouse July 20 with William P. Moss III acting as substitute trustee.
