Primacy II, a 123,265-square-foot East Memphis office building, has a new owner thanks to a huge $17 million deal.

Nashville-based Priam Capital purchased the office building located at 6055 Primacy Parkway near the intersection Ridgway Road and Park Avenue from The Southland Companies for $16.6 million, according to a warranty deed filed with the Shelby County Register of Deeds April 11.

27. Shelby County Housing Market Caps Off Strong First Quarter -

The final month of the quarter capped off a strong start to 2017 as the number of homes sold in Shelby County were up 20 percent in March and 13 percent for the first quarter.

The average home sales price in March was $151,688, a 5 percent increase from $144,949 a year ago, according to real estate information company Chandler Reports, chandlerreports.com.

NASHVILLE – The state is putting an indefinite hold on a proposed contract for a private company to redevelop and operate Fall Creek Falls State Park.
