NY-Based Retail Owner Defaults on $25.6M Loan -

Four retail properties across six parcels in Collierville and Cordova owned by affiliates of New York-based Nightingale Properties are in default and facing foreclosure.
A first-run foreclosure notice has been filed for three retail properties in Collierville and one in Cordova after borrowers defaulted on a $25.6 million loan secured by the properties. The properties are scheduled for sale Friday, June 29, at noon by substitute trustee Robert F. Tom.

Rhodes College has filed an $11 million permit with the city-county Office of Construction Code Enforcement to expand and renovate its main dining hall facility.
Known by students as “The Rat,” Catherine Burrow Refectory opened in 1958 and has three dining areas – Neely Hall, Hyde Hall and Rollow Hall. Smaller meeting rooms include the Alburty Room, the Davis Room and the Bell Room.

In the past three weeks, a commercial real estate broker at Re/Max On The River has closed more than $14.4 million in real estate deals in Memphis, with more on the way.
Reuben Stein, 22, the senior vice president of Re/Max's commercial group, brokered the sale of two strip centers and an office park - in Cordova, Bartlett and Memphis - to Nightingale Properties, a New York-based group of investors.
