6. Collierville Apartments Sell for $34.3 Million -

Collierville’s 324-unit Madison at Schilling Farms apartment community has changed hands in the largest multifamily sale in Shelby County over the past year.

New Jersey-based private equity firm Spyglass Capital Partners LLC, working as Spyglass-Collierville LLC, paid $34.3 million, or $105,864 per unit, for the Class A property. The seller, Arenda Capital Management affiliate Madison 324 LLC, had purchased the community four years ago for $32 million.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has been named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team for the 2015-16 season, the NBA announced.

This marks the fifth career All-Defensive selection for Allen, who previously received First Team honors in 2014-15, 2012-13 and 2011-12 and a Second Team selection in 2010-11. Allen has now been recognized on the NBA All-Defensive Teams five times in his six seasons with the Grizzlies.

62. Assessor Allegations Dismissed as ‘Baseless’ -

An anonymous ethics complaint against Shelby County Assessor Cheyenne Johnson in January included lots of documents and lots of allegations.

But whoever filed the complaint with the county’s ethics officer missed a crucial detail in making the allegation that Johnson supposedly forged her son’s name on documents for properties owned by Faith Investment Group LLC.

The technology giant will sell a combination of bonds with maturities ranging from five years to 30 years, according to a filing with U.S. regulators. The company was originally trying to sell $5 billion in bonds, according to traders, but investor demand has been strong and Apple's offering might go as high as $6.5 billion.

Realty Income Corp. acquires and manages freestanding, single-tenant properties leased to retail chains.

LifeStorage, through an entity operating as SSTN 651 S. Rowlett Street LLC, acquired the 62,170-square-foot facility at 651 S. Rowlett St. from LottaStorage LLC, according to an Oct. 6 special warranty deed. The Shelby County Assessor of Property’s 2014 appraisal is $2.2 million.
