1. Crews Realty Buys Collierville Acreage for $2 Million -

Three vacant parcels totaling about 231 acres at Tenn. 385 and Houston Levee Road in Collierville have sold for a combined $2 million.

A Germantown-based entity called HL385 Investments LLC, an affiliate of Crews Realty, bought the properties in two July 14 special warranty deeds from Jane Isbell Haynes, Barton F. Haynes, Elizabeth F. Haynes Burnett and Mary F. Haynes Gardner.

2. Tower Facelift -

One of Memphis’ most recognizable office buildings, occupying a prime piece of commercial real estate on Poplar Avenue in East Memphis, is getting a makeover.

Rosemont Realty LLC is investing around $400,000 to update the 24-story i-bank Tower at 5050 Poplar Ave. The 275,634-square-foot building, built in 1967 by pioneering developer William B. Clark Sr. and formerly known as White Station Tower, includes the signature round top floor, which once housed a rotating restaurant.

3. Breaking the Mold -

When Rosemarie Fair was named Broker of the Year in investment sales at last year’s Pinnacle Awards, she became the first woman ever to do so.

Before Fair founded One Source Commercial Inc. in 1993, she worked with Carlisle Corp. in the early 1980s on Beale Street Landing Downtown. She remembers often what her mentor Gene Carlisle taught her – “Somebody will take care of the big stuff, it’s the nickels and dimes that make the difference.”

7. 17 Lots in Collierville Gardens Sell for $1.5M -

Jason Crews Partnership has sold 17 lots in the Collierville Gardens Planned Development for $1.5 million to Hilliard Crews Partnership. The sale occurred Sept. 17. The 23-lot, 56.66-acre subdivision was developed by Shelby Group Realty LLC, which filed its plat on the property in 2001.

8. Home Construction Safety Touted Through Promotional Tour -

Reginald Taylor has been a maintenance technician for Swan Realty for the past eight years.

His duties include painting, plumbing, hanging sheetrock and laying tile, just to name a few.
