After 30 years, the name Humphreys Ink Advertising is being retired. Company founder and president Anderson Humphreys has formed a new company, Anderson Humphreys LLC.

5. Trezevant Hires Resident Services Head -

Kimberly O’Donnell has joined Trezevant as director of resident services. In her new position, she will be responsible for managing a variety of programs and functions while serving as liaison to the residential community.

11. District Judge Todd Takes Senior Status -

His replacement confirmed by the U.S. Senate last month, U.S. District Judge James D. Todd of Jackson, Tenn., announced this week that he is taking senior status effective May 20.

Todd, who has been the Jackson court's only district judge for 23 years, still may be called on to hear cases, but will not have new cases assigned to him and will not have a regular court calendar. He said senior status is much like semi-retirement, although he's by no means finished being a judge.

12. Youth Voting Rights Takes Center Stage at Forum Today -

The Mid-South Peace & Justice Center and the April 4th Foundation hold a youth voting rights forum from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at BRIDGES Inc., 477 N. Fifth St. A number of interactive activities designed to reinforce the importance and meaning of voting will be available. Speakers include Election Commissioner O.C. The Memphis Area Legal Services' board of directors has elected Antonio "Toney" Matthews to serve as its vice president. Matthews is an attorney with Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz PC and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association and the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Hearing Committee.
