The Grizzlies lost their 15th straight game, 119-110 at Chicago, on Wednesday, March 7.

Missouri-based Martabra Real Estate LLC acquired the flex warehouse building at 5055 Covington Way, just off Covington Pike south of Elmore Road, from CP Perimeter Point LLC, an affiliate of California-based Coastal Partners LLC.

Mirimichi is a Native American word that means “place of happy retreat.”

Now that global entertainment icon Justin Timberlake and his family have sold their happy local retreat, Mirimichi Golf Course, to a local group for $500,000, the new owners have an opportunity to increase the number of holes and tournaments played at the course, which underwent a massive $16 million renovation.

5. Justin Timberlake Group Sells Golf Course -

Entertainer Justin Timberlake and his family have sold the Mirimichi golf course in Millington. The course’s ownership group, Mirimichi LLC, sold the property at 6195 Woodstock Cuba Road to Three Star Leasing LLC for $500,000, according to the Shelby County Register of Deeds’ website. A copy of the deed was not available online by press time.

The owner of a pair of neighboring industrial facilities on Chelsea Avenue has filed two loans – a $1.7 million deed of trust and a $1 million line of credit – through IberiaBank on the properties.

The history of the Midtown entertainment district dates back to late 1970, when T.G.I. Friday’s opened its first franchised location on Madison Avenue near Cooper Street following the passage of a referendum vote allowing liquor by the drink citywide a year prior.

After being historically thought of as a driving force in industrial real estate, Colliers International is becoming a rising star in the retail arena.

The retail team of Andrew Phillips and Ed Thomas has been involved in three of the largest retail lease transactions in the last six months with the 45,000-square-foot Habitat for Humanity, 24,000-square-foot Memphis Judo and 14,000-square-foot Jack Wills Co.

13. WPG Americas Signs Lease in Southaven -

A San Jose, Calif.-based worldwide electronics distributor is entering the Memphis area with full force.

WPG Americas Inc. has signed a 54,000-square-foot lease at Airways Distribution Center, 481 Industrial Drive, in Southaven. The project – a relocation of the WPG America’s New York facility – represents a $1.5 million investment by the company and will create 60 jobs over the next three years.
