The Economic Development Growth Engine of Memphis and Shelby County approved an incentives request from International Distributors USA to relocate from Olive Branch and expand in Memphis.
The Fast Track payment-in-lieu-of-taxes (PILOT) clears the way for International Distributors to move from its current 165,000-square-foot location in Olive Branch to a 510,310-square-foot facility at 4770 Hickory Hill Road in South Memphis.

DunAn to Open Manufacturing Facility in Memphis -

A Chinese company has selected Memphis to be its first manufacturing site in the U.S., bringing more than 100 jobs and $4.2 million in local taxes.
At a Wednesday, Nov. 18, meeting of the Memphis-Shelby County Economic Development Growth Engine, the board approved an eight-year abatement in property taxes for DunAn Precision Inc. The tax break amounts to a total savings of $2.1 million.

Ikea PILOT Extension Approved -

Nearly 10 months after the Memphis-Shelby County Development Growth Engine approved tax breaks for Ikea, it returned to the board with a new plan.
The Swedish retail giant requested EDGE extend its property tax abatement by 11 months to make up for a dispute over the property tax appraisal on the Cordova land.
