NEW YORK (AP) – Twitter's initial public offering of stock is getting an enthusiastic response from prospective investors.

In a reflection of the demand for Twitter's stock, the 7-year-old short messaging service on Monday boosted the price range for the IPO to $23 and $25 per share. The San Francisco company had set a range of $17 to $20 per share before Twitter executives began pitching investors interested in the IPO in a series of meetings that began last week.

5. Lehman Examiner Hires Duff & Phelps as Adviser -

An investigator in the Lehman bankruptcy case can hire its own financial adviser to examine the flow of money in the case, a judge ruled Wednesday.

The investigator, Anton Valukas of the Jenner & Block law firm, chose financial advisory firm Duff & Phelps. Among the firm’s specialties is forensic accounting and dealing with distressed companies.
