3. Randy Odom Named CEO of Memphis Athletic Ministries -

Randy Odom has been named president and chief executive officer of Memphis Athletic Ministries. Odom joined MAM in 2006 as a neighborhood center director and became chief operating officer in 2012. In his new role, he oversees all operations and programming for 10 neighborhood youth centers that serve more than 900 underserved youth after school each day.

4. Buckman Sees Leadership Changes -

Kathy Buckman Gibson is changing her role in the Buckman family business, Buckman International.

Buckman Gibson became president and chief operating officer of the global specialty chemical company with a company announcement Thursday, Jan. 30. She had been chairman of the Buckman board since 2000.

5. Endocrinologist Detti Joins UT Medical Group -

Reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Laura Detti has joined the Germantown office of UT Medical Group Inc., where she specializes in male and female infertility. Detti provides genetic diagnosis and counseling; management of conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, recurrent miscarriages and premature menopause; and pre- and post-cancer care for fertility issues.

6. Scharff Elected to Legal Roles at Buckman, Bulab Holdings -

Jonathan Scharff has been elected vice president, legal and general counsel for Buckman and corporate secretary for Bulab Holdings Inc., Buckman’s parent company. Scharff has more than 22 years’ experience in the legal industry, including positions at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale PC in St. Louis and Harris Shelton Hanover Walsh PLLC in Memphis. In his new position, he will oversee legal needs in U.S. and global operating companies and work with associates in preventing and managing legal risks.

7.       CBU Business School to Honor Buckman -

Christian Brothers University's School of Business honors Memphis businessman/entrepreneur Robert Buckman at the school's annual Founders Dinner Saturday. Buckman is president and chairman of the board of The Applied Knowledge Group Inc. He also serves as chairman of the executive committee of the board of directors of Bulab Holdings Inc., parent company of Buckman Laboratories.
