But when SCS superintendent Dorsey Hopson met parents and students from Kirby High School Thursday evening in Hickory Hill, it was new ground. The subject was rats – lots of rats.

Belvedere Apartments Come Down for New Kroger Store -

Work is underway this week to bring down the former Belvedere apartments on Union Avenue to make way for the new Midtown Kroger supermarket.
The Delta Division of Kroger is investing $100 million over six years into the overhaul of several Memphis-area stores, including the new Midtown store. The original store, at 1745 Union, will be demolished for a parking lot for the new store.
