4. Lakeland Voters to Elect New Commissioner -

Lakeland voters go to the polls Thursday, May 25, to elect a new city commissioner. Polls for four precincts at three locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the special election to fill a vacancy on the Lakeland commission created with the March resignation of Michelle Dial.

7. Early Voting in District 95 Primaries Begins Friday -

Early voting opens Friday, April 7, in the special primary elections for state House District 95 as other elections – including some 2018 races – already show plenty of signs of political life.
