Details: The owner of the 368-unit Legacy Farm apartment complex at 1120 Winchester Road in Collierville has filed a $29.8 million loan on the property.

3. Brim’s Owner Files Loan on Bartlett Facility -

A company whose principal owns Brim’s Snack Foods has filed a $4.3 million construction loan on its 7940 A E Beaty Drive property in Bartlett.

TBLN Investments – whose principal, Terry Brimhall, is founder and president of Brim’s parent company Brimhall Foods Co. Inc. – filed the loan April 30 through Renasant Bank. Though the loan was filed in April, the Shelby County Register of Deeds didn’t record the loan until this week.

4. FedEx Seeks Office Space as Needs Shift -

FedEx Corp. is currently looking for 25,000 square feet of office space in the Memphis market, according to several real estate brokers.

5. Brimhall Named Bartlett Entrepreneur of Year -

Terry Brimhall, founder and president of Brimhall Foods Co. Inc., has been named entrepreneur of the year by the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce.

6. Biz Expo Pushes Products, Services -

The freebies ranged from packages of pork rinds to massages Thursday at the 12th Annual Bartlett Business Expo.

J.G. “Buck” Buckingham handed out the pork rinds for Brim’s Snack Foods along with hot fries during the first hour of the event. He predicted that by day’s end he would give out between 1,000 and 1,500 packages.

7. BNSF Moves on Expansion Plans -

Memphis, already firm in its status as a national transportation hub, is on the verge of another major transport industry development. Burlington Northern Santa Fe is moving forward with a planned expansion of its railway facility at Shelby Drive and Lamar Avenue.
