When Memphis attorney Robert Friedman was shot and killed in a Downtown parking garage three years ago, it brought home the dangers associated with being a family law practitioner.
Harold Noel, a former divorce client of Friedman's, was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in connection with the case in December. Suzanne Landers, a senior partner in the family law firm of Landers & Associates, remembers hearing the dreadful news.
