An affiliate of Franklin, Tenn.-based D1 Sports Training has bought 1.9 acres of land in Collierville and filed a construction loan for a 19,062-square-foot sports facility on the property.
DP Memphis LLC paid $375,000 for the vacant parcel, whose address is known as 85 Market Center Drive, in a Feb. 4 special warranty deed from Schilling Farms LLC.

10. Feds Want Cash, Plane in Contraband Cigarette Case

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Federal authorities want to take $1.89 million and an airplane allegedly used in a multimillion dollar scheme to sell contraband cigarettes in the Southeast.
No charges in the case have been made public, but federal agents have raided facilities in Mississippi, Kentucky and South Carolina as part of a two-year investigation. Court records in which the government seeks forfeiture of the money and airplane also name two men as alleged participants in the scheme.
