A large nationwide survey shows more homebuyers than ever are getting on the information superhighway when looking for a place to settle down.
The number of buyers who use the Internet to search for homes has risen steadily over the years, according to the National Association of Realtors' Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers. Only 2 percent of those surveyed used the Internet to look at homes in 1995. That number shot up to 77 percent in 2005, up from 74 percent the previous year.
