Former St. Francis Hospital CEO Dave Archer has joined the Health Care MBA program at Christian Brothers University as a full-time professor and recruiter.

Mary Catherine Tagg, director of operations for Destination King, has received the “Rising Star” award at the fifth annual Association of Destination Management Executives Achievement Awards.

Dr. Dava F. Gerard has been appointed administrator for the Methodist Healthcare Cancer Center. She previously was the founding vice president and chief operating officer of the Nevada Cancer Institute in Las Vegas.

10. Methodist Le Bonheur's Wade Becomes First to Achieve BCIA Certification -

Deanne Wade has become the first therapist in the tri-state area (Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi) to become certified through the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA) in pelvic muscle dysfunction biofeedback. Wade is a physical therapist and supervisor in incontinence and pelvic rehabilitation at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital.

11. Local Resident Named Land Realtor of America -

Keith Morris of 4M Land Co. in Somerville was honored with the 2005 Land Realtor of America award by the Realtors Land Institute. Morris, current president of the Tennesseen RLI chapter, is the first Tennessean to receive the award. He graduated from the University of Memphis.
