Three-year-old Josie Mae Mathis of Greene County used to suffer hundreds of seizures daily from epilepsy and infantile spasms. Aden Vogus, a pre-teen from Brentwood, has seen his seizures all but disappear.

Rhodes College will host physicist and author Brian Greene as part of its Communities in Conversation series Thursday, March 5, at 6 p.m. in the McCallum Ballroom, Bryan Campus Life Center at Rhodes, 2000 North Parkway. Calvary Episcopal Church will present the 2015 Lenten Preaching Series and Waffle Shop Tuesdays to Fridays through March 27.
