1. Local Golf Courses Change Hands, Undergo Improvements -

Mirimichi is a Native American word that means “place of happy retreat.”

Now that global entertainment icon Justin Timberlake and his family have sold their happy local retreat, Mirimichi Golf Course, to a local group for $500,000, the new owners have an opportunity to increase the number of holes and tournaments played at the course, which underwent a massive $16 million renovation.

2. Justin Timberlake Group Sells Golf Course -

Entertainer Justin Timberlake and his family have sold the Mirimichi golf course in Millington. The course’s ownership group, Mirimichi LLC, sold the property at 6195 Woodstock Cuba Road to Three Star Leasing LLC for $500,000, according to the Shelby County Register of Deeds’ website. A copy of the deed was not available online by press time.

13. Mirimichi to Build Performance Center -

Mirimichi golf course near Millington – the facility owned by megastar and Memphis native Justin Timberlake and his family – soon will begin work on the Callaway Performance Center, according to a $1.3 million building permit filed this week with the city-county Office of Construction Code Enforcement.

The new owners of Big Creek Golf Course in Millington have acquired 22 lots and some land in the Woodstock Hill Subdivision adjacent to the golf course at 6195 Woodstock-Cuba Road. Big Creek Golf LLC paid $1.2 million for the lots and land, buying it July 28 from Tapp Enterprises Inc.

17. Course Owned By Timberlake To Go Green -

First, they saved it from the auction block last fall. Now, an ownership group that includes entertainer Justin Timberlake is seeking to transform a 303-acre golf course property south of Millington into a facility built to design standards unmatched in Tennessee and in few places elsewhere in the world.
