Cabot III-TN1M01 LLC, an affiliate of Boston-based Cabot Properties Inc., has bought a warehouse on two parcels at 3924 Crowfarn Drive from MM Industrial Memphis LLC for $2.2 million.

Details: One month after a storm shredded its Southeast Memphis headquarters, Katt Worldwide Logistics formally has begun the rebuilding process. Cabot II TN1W07 LLC, the owner of Katt's headquarters at 4105 S. Mendenhall Road, filed application to repair the 112,000-square-foot building that houses Katt's corporate offices and some of its warehouse space. The local ownership group is affiliated with Boston-based Cabot Properties Inc.
The $1.7 million repair will target the company's roof and rear wall, which were blown away the night of Feb. 5 when tornadoes tore through the Mid-South. It will be the second overhaul to the building in less than a year - the company had completed an interior renovation a few weeks before the storm hit. Plans call for a similar office design with a few more offices.
"Everything was brand new, so we're excited about getting back in there brand new again," said Katt chief operating officer Mike Kattawar Sr., adding that the company's contractor, Instar Services Group LP, showed up the morning after the storm to assess the damage. "They're going to have us back in our building by the end of July. That's the goal. Those guys are all over it. They were there Day 1, and they've been there ever since. They've got all the skills and abilities to get us in there."
