Music+Arts Studio in Cooper-Young wants to work with more filmmakers. The studio, which began distributing films with Mike McCarthy’s “Cigarette Girl” in 2014 and has released two short films since then, is now expanding its digital distribution for independent filmmakers.

Sean Henneberger has joined First State Bank’s small-business lending division as vice president/business development officer in the Memphis market. 7. American, US Airways Name Post-Merger Leadership -

DALLAS (AP) – The new American Airlines will have more top executives from smaller but more successful US Airways than from the current American.

Five US Airways executives will follow their current CEO, Doug Parker, when he takes control after the airlines complete their proposed merger. Three executives from American parent AMR Corp. were named to the new company's leadership team.

8. East Joins Carriage Crossing As Marketing Coordinator -

Kendra East has joined Carriage Crossing as marketing coordinator. East’s new responsibilities include creating and implementing the lifestyle center’s yearly marketing budget, spearheading onsite events and leading merchant communication.

Bill Burtch, founder and president of full-service management consultancy firm Harmony Coaching & Consulting, has received the Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation, becoming the second PCC in Memphis. Burtch, who also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources designation, focuses his consulting work in executive/team coaching, professional development training and human resources consulting.

16. Huff Becomes Enrollment VP at University of Memphis -

Betty Huff has been named vice provost of enrollment services at the University of Memphis.

Huff previously served as acting dean and associate dean of students at the University of New Orleans, registrar at the University of Kentucky and vice chancellor for enrollment services and management at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
