High-profile media conference to land in Memphis
Four months from now, a group of celebrities from the news and entertainment worlds will flock to Memphis for a national conference on the media, an event that's expected to bring up to 3,000 people to the city.
Within four years, two disasters - the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York and Washington and Hurricane Katrina on the Gulf Coast Aug. 29, 2005 - rocked the security and emergency preparedness of the United States.
Alan Crone, attorney and co-founder of Crone & Mason PLC, has been named a fellow of the Memphis Bar Foundation. The appointment was made at the annual joint meeting of the Memphis Bar Association and its charitable arm, the Memphis Bar Foundation, Sept. 11. Read more about Crone in tomorrow's Law Talk feature.
