Liberty Building Systems Inc. is leaving Bartlett and moving its corporate and engineering offices to Southwind, where it will join sister company VP Buildings at 3200 Players Club Circle.

Corker Proposes Banking Hotline

It worked when he proposed the idea while serving as mayor of Chattanooga. Now that he’s a U.S. senator, Bob Corker, R-Tenn., wants to do a version of the same thing: set up a toll-free telephone hotline to help people across the country, this time with banking issues.

Employers Cut Jobs For Sixth Straight Month

WASHINGTON (AP) - Employers cut payrolls by 62,000 in June, the sixth straight month of nationwide job losses, underscoring the economy’s fragile state. The unemployment rate held steady at 5.5 percent.
