Business License Filings Creep Ever Upward

Could be attributed to more corporate workers jumping ship, experts say

Kendall Haney, owner of Kendall Haney Realty Group, already owned a business license for his Midtown-based real estate company. But when he filed another one May 22 for the Downtown Condo Connection, Haney joined a growing number of business license filers in the second quarter of 2006.

Halle Investments Plans Upscale Germantown Subdivision

14.33 acres near, Dogwood Road, Sale Amount: $3.2 million -
Jon and Susan Thompson have sold 14 acres, along with one estate home on the property, to Halle Investment Co. for $3.2 million. The property is south of Dogwood Road and west of Poplar Avenue in Germantown. Halle plans to develop the land into 17 lots, which then will become the gated Radford Subdivision.
