The four-building, 18.5-acre Stephen Olford Center for Biblical Preaching. Union University, a Jackson, Tenn.-based private Christian institution, acquired the center and other assets from Olford Ministries International (OMI) May 31, when OMI officially became part of Union. OMI's board of directors approved the merger in April.
Back Yard Burgers Inc. will be acquired this year by the Atlanta-based private equity firm BBAC LLC and its wholly owned subsidiary BBAC Merger Sub Inc. for $38 million, the companies announced Monday.
