Instead of trolling the high seas, thieves now surf Internet

Six computer users in Memphis and the surrounding area have been sued by the Recording Industry Association of America for illegally downloading music from the Internet, an act for which each could pay a fine of more than $4,000.

Square is so Square: Somerville Man Goes for Round House Instead

Despite being a hot Memphis-area real estate market, Fayette County boasts another unique housing trait: the paneled round house. Based in Asheville, N.C., Deltec Homes Inc. sells circular housing kits. The company lists two round homes in West Tennessee: one in the town of Dyer and the other in Somerville.

Construction Continues in Cherry Hall Planned Development

One lot in, Cherry Hall, Loan Amount: $1 million -
A construction loan for the second of seven lots in Cherry Hall Planned Development at the southeast corner of Cherry Road and Poplar Avenue. Original plans for Cherry Hall called for eight lots on the 1.72 acres, but the plans now call for seven lots.
