The Association of Fundraising Professionals will meet Thursday, March 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Children’s Museum of Memphis education barn, 2525 Central Ave. Museum CEO Dick Hackett will present “Success Breeds Success.” Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Ballet Memphis, Crosstown Arts and Literacy Mid-South will present “spark: censorship and the arts,” part of the spark: conversation series, Thursday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. at Crosstown Arts, 430 N. Memphis Botanic Garden will host the official Tennessee Arbor Day Celebration Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at the garden, 750 Cherry Road.
