Family: My two sons, Matthew and Sean, and three grandchildren

Favorite quote: “Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.” – Mark Twain

Favorite movie: I don’t really have just one, but if I had to choose, I would say “Forrest Gump.”

What’s playing on your stereo right now? Johnny Lang, Adele and Rockers Oysterfella

Activities you enjoy outside of work: Golf, fishing, traveling and spending time with my kids and grandkids

What talent do you wish you had? I wish I was musically inclined. I would love to play the piano.

Who has had the greatest influence on you and why? My dad. He was a kind and compassionate philanthropist that loved helping people.

What attracted you to State Systems? The people. They were customers of mine for five years in my previous job, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn a new industry.

What are your goals in your new role? To use my customer relationships to sell and become a trusted adviser in the fire and life safety industry

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment? It is still a work in progress, but I feel good about the work that I do in the community.
