A six-concert series is coming to Harbor Town later this month.

The River Series, benefitting The Maria Montessori School, is coming to the Harbor Town Amphitheater at 740 Harbor Bend Road starting Aug. 23.

The series, which will run through the fall and into the spring, will bring acts including John Paul Keith and the Memphis Dawls to an underused and scenic location on the Mississippi River. It's being curated by Goner Records and Shoulder Tap Records and funded by a grant from the Downtown Memphis Commission.

In addition to the Memphis Dawls and John Paul Keith, artists that will be part of the fall lineup include Robby Grant and Mark Stuart, as well as the Limes.

Guest DJs will be present at some shows, for which minimum donations of $5 are requested. Attendees can enter starting at 6 p.m., and the bands get started at 7 p.m.

The fall roster includes:

Aug 23 – Memphis Dawls and Robby Grant

Sept 20 – John Paul Keith and Mark Stuart

Oct 18 – Ex-Cult and Limes
