Dohmen Life Science Adds Space in SE Memphis
Dohmen Life Science Services is expanding its footprint in Southeast Memphis.
The operator of the pharmaceutical logistics company DDN recently inked lease renewals and an expansion that pushed its occupancy to 628,000 square feet.
Dohmen Life Science Services renewed its lease for 168,000 square feet at Midway Building B, 4580 S. Mendenhall Road. The company also expanded by 140,000 square feet to a new total of 460,000 square feet at Midway Building C, 4550 S. Mendenhall Road, and will now occupy the entire building.
For more than 155 years Milwaukee-based Dohmen Life Science Services has been involved in health-related businesses, first as an apothecary, then a manufacturer, later a wholesaler and today as a provider of outsourced business services.
Dohmen Life Science Services in now the parent company of multiple medical-related companies, including DDN, MedComm Solutions, Reglera, BioSoteria and Centric Health Services.
Scott Pahlow of Newmark Grubb Memphis represented Dohmen Life Science Services and Patrick Walton of Cushman & Wakefield/Commercial Advisors represented the landlord in the transaction.
A Collierville office park has changed hands. Pro Memphis LLC recently sold the seven-building Poplar View Office Park portfolio for $1.5 million.
Positioned on Poplar View Parkway and surrounded by the Collierville Library and Town Hall to the north, Baptist Hospital to the west and Schilling Farms and Poplar Avenue to the south, Poplar View Office Park was developed in 1995.

In other news, the 60,724-square-foot Germantown Collection shopping center is seeing leasing activity.
Gould’s Day Spa is expanding at the retail center at Poplar Avenue and Pete Mitchell Road. The popular Memphis-based salon and day spa is adding 2,000 square feet at the Germantown Collection shopping center for a total of 4,856 square feet for 10 years.
Maui Brick Oven, a gluten free pizza concept, has also signed a lease at Germantown Collection, Maui Brick Oven is leasing 2,262 square feet next to Panera Bread.
Andrew Phillips and Preston Thomas of Colliers International Memphis represented the landlord, GA Poplar Avenue Germantown LLC, on both leases.
In other leasing news, Gourmet Pizza has renewed its lease at Houston Levee Shops. Gourmet Pizza will stay in its 1,400 square-foot space at 1996 S. Houston Levee Road No. 103 at Houston Levee Shops, on the Collierville/Germantown border at Houston Levee Road and Wolf River Boulevard. Laura Warren represented Loeb Properties.
Animax signed a new lease at Cloverleaf Shopping Center. Animax, an independently owned store that opened in 1997 and specialize in all sorts of Japanese merchandise, including model Gundams, anime figurines, DVD box sets, and more, is taking 3,000 square feet of space at 5144 Old Summer inside Cloverleaf.
