Memphis Botanic Garden will host the Spring’s Best Plant Sale Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the garden, 750 Cherry Road. Visit memphisbotanicgarden.com.

The Broad Avenue Art Walk will be held Friday, April 11, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. along Broad Avenue between Hollywood Street and the railroad tracks. The event will include live music, works by more than 70 artists, and more. Cost is free. Visit broadavearts.com.

Ballet Memphis will present “Peter Pan,” a world premiere from the choreographer of “Cinderella” and “Wizard of Oz,” Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13, at The Orpheum, 203 S. Main St. Buy tickets at balletmemphis.org.

Methodist South Hospital will host the Whitehaven Healthy Community Day Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to noon on the grounds across from the hospital, 1300 Wesley Drive. The event will include a 5K at 8 a.m., 2-mile walk at 8:30 a.m., health fair from 9 a.m. to noon, and more. Visit methodisthealth.org.

The Overton Square Crawfish Festival will be held Saturday, April 12, from noon to 6 p.m.in Overton Square and down Madison Avenue from Cooper to Morrison streets. The event will include fresh crawfish and three stages of live music. Admission is free; proceeds from sales benefit LivItUp.

Cooper-Young Community Association will hold the Art for Art’s Sake Auction Saturday, April 12, at Young Avenue Deli, 2119 Young Ave. The event will include a silent auction, as well as a live auction of original art, photography, pottery, jewelry and more. Opera Memphis will present an encore of “Ghosts of Crosstown” Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. Cooper St. The commissioned work includes five short operas inspired by people who lived near or worked in the Crosstown building. Visit operamemphis.org.

IRIS Orchestra will present “Foreign Affairs,” featuring violinist Joshua Bell, Saturday, April 12, at 8 p.m. at Germantown Performing Arts Center, 1801 Exeter Road. Tickets are $65. Visit irisorchestra.org.
