The 16th annual Indie Memphis Film Festival will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, through Sunday, Nov. 3, at Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. Cooper St., the Circuit Playhouse, 51 S. Cooper St., and Studio on the Square, 2105 Court Ave. Visit indiememphis.com.

AIGA and the Indie Memphis Film Festival will host the Indie Memphis Movie Poster Competition Thursday, Oct. 31, through Sunday, Nov. 3, at Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. Cooper St. An awards ceremony will be held Sunday at 5 p.m. Visit indiememphis.com.

The Peabody will hold a Halloween rooftop party on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Peabody, 149 Union Ave. The party will include a costume contest with cash prizes, and Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster will perform. Tickets are $15. Visit peabodymemphis.com.
