The Downtown Memphis Commission will host an electronics recycling drive for Friday, Nov. 15, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Central Station pavilion, at the corner of South Front Street and G.E. Start Co. will kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week with 48 Hour Launch Friday, Nov. 15, from 6 p.m. to Sunday, Nov. 17. Five teams will develop their business concepts over the weekend then present them to the community Sunday at 6 p.m. Register at neverstop.co.

The Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission will hold a free Financial Literacy Summit for Teachers Saturday, Nov. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business & Economics, 3665 Central Ave. Teachers will learn financial literacy lessons for their students and themselves. Dixon Gallery and Gardens will host its free Family Day at the Dixon Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Dixon gardens, 4339 Park Ave. The event will include live music, scavenger hunts, fall art projects and more. Visit dixon.org.
