The Daily News and Chandler Reports will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 8:30 a.m.

Lifeblood will hold a Martin Luther King Jr. Day mobile blood drive Monday, Jan. 21, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at National Civil Rights Museum, 450 Mulberry St. Donors will receive a museum admission voucher for themselves and three family members. Visit lifeblood.org.

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception will hold its Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer and Praise Celebration Monday, Jan. 21, at 9 a.m. at the church, 1695 Central Ave. The theme is “Continuing the Legacy, Living the Faith.” Visit iccathedral.org.

Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association will honor a Martin Luther King Jr. Day public birthday celebration Monday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. at MIFA, 910 Vance Ave., followed by a meal delivery to homebound seniors. Visit mifa.org.

Memphis Rotary Club will meet Tuesday, Jan. 22, at noon at the University Club of Memphis, 1346 Central Ave. Dwan Gilliom, director of the City of Memphis Public Works Division, will speak. Cost is $18. R.S.V.P. to Taylor Hughes at taylor@memphisrotary.org.

Rhodes College will host Dr. James Miller as part of its Communities in Conversation series Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 6 p.m. in the McCallum Ballroom of the Bryan Campus Life Center on campus, 2000 North Parkway. Religion, Law and Reproductive Rights: The 40th Anniversary of Roe v.
