Electrolux Fills Key Positions in Memphis

The manager of the Electrolux North America plant in L’Assomption Quebec, Canada, will be the plant manager at the new Electrolux North American cooking products manufacturing plant in Memphis.
The hiring of George Robbins was one of five announced Wednesday, May 9, by the company, which is leaving the Quebec plant for the move to Memphis.
Other hires included two from United Technologies-Carrier Corp. in Collierville.
Theo Stewart will be Electrolux supply chain director and Katie Bloss will be quality director. Stewart was materials manager at Carrier and Bloss was quality manager there.
Keith Remington is controller for the Memphis Electrolux plant. He comes to Memphis from being manager of cost accounting at Knauf Insulation GmbH in Indianapolis.
Leigh Ann Berko will be human resources director. She comes to Memphis from the same position at Jacobs Vehicle Systems in Bloomfield, Conn. The Electrolux position is a return to Memphis for Berko.
