The Memphis office of national labor and employment law firm Fisher & Phillips LLP is hosting a comprehensive employment law seminar titled “One Day, Many Solutions: Employment Law Coast to Coast” April 20 at the Memphis Botanic Garden, 750 Cherry Road.

The seminar is geared to prepare legal, management and human resources professionals for employment law changes and challenges they may face this year.

Almost all of Fisher & Phillips’ 27 offices around the country will be hosting the “One Day, Many Solutions” seminar during April. Each office will also present a seminar segment on particular employment law issues of concern to the local office.

The Memphis office will present a segment on issues related to increases in Fair Labor Standards Act overtime and minimum-wage collective actions in the area as well as a special segment on how area employers can perform background checks on applicants.
