Mays Sets Monday Conference in Schools Case

Memphis Federal Court Judge Hardy Mays has set a Monday, July 9, status conference with all sides in the schools consolidation case.

The conference, scheduled Thursday, is the first since Shelby County Commissioners filed a third-party motion in the 2011 lawsuit seeking to stop the set of August referendums in the suburbs to form separate municipal school districts.
