The Downtown Memphis Commission board of directors will meet Friday, Feb. 24, at noon at 114 N. Main St.

eighty3 will begin a four-week, free-tasting series on Sunday nights for Memphis food- and beverage-industry service staff Sunday, Feb. 26, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the restaurant, 83 Madison Ave. Thirty reservations will be accepted each Sunday. The Greater Memphis Chamber will hold the Move It Memphis Race 10K/5K Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 200 Beale St. The race will benefit the chamber. To register, visit www.memphischamber.com.

Methodist South Hospital will host Methodist South Day to Dance for Health Saturday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Southland Mall, 1215 Southland Mall. The Haitian Art Auction at Café Ole will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the restaurant, 959 S. Cooper St. The event will include live music by Frank Montelone, free appetizers and a cash bar with all proceeds going to The Haitian Project. All paintings will come directly from Haiti.
