Family: Husband, Phil; son, Phil, 4; daughter, Emma, 21 months; Avery, black Labrador and Chloe, Yorkshire Terrier.

Favorite quote: “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.... You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Activities you enjoy outside of work: Spending time with my family and friends and taking my children to exciting and new places.

What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could sing.

Who has had the greatest influence on you? My parents. I learn by their example every day on how to be the best parent and person that I can be.

What attracted you to MBI? While I was growing up, both of my parents were involved in the world of texture, color and creation so how could I not want to work with the same types of things? After spending almost 10 years in the construction industry, I realized what makes me smile – the ingredients of making inspiring environments that help make people work and live better.

What are your goals in your new role at MBI? My main goal is to become knowledgeable and successful at helping companies create inspiring workspaces for their employees.

What do you consider your greatest professional accomplishments? My greatest professional accomplishment was finding an opportunity that challenges and helps me grow every single day.

What do you most enjoy about your work? I am very lucky that every day I get the opportunity to go into a beautiful office space, with people that I thoroughly enjoy working with, to be creative and meet the daily challenges of space planning and interior design. That to me is priceless.
