Seedco Mid-South is accepting applicants for Operation JumpStart: First Step, a national program that teaches entrepreneurs small-business planning and preparation skills, through Dec. 31. Participants can choose from two sessions: Jan. 8 to Feb. 14 or Jan. 18 to April 3. Cost is $375; a limited number of scholarships are available. The Memphis Area Association of Realtors will hold its annual honors and awards luncheon Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. MAAR will honor its 2012 committee chairmen and announce the Realtor of the Year, Realtor-Associate of the Year and Affiliate of the Year.
