NASHVILLE (AP) – Free wireless Internet access is now available outside the Senate and House chambers at the Tennessee Capitol.

Russell Humphrey, acting chief of staff for Republican Senate Speaker Ron Ramsey of Blountville, said Wednesday that wireless access will be expanded when the 151-year-old building undergoes renovations either this year or next.

Humphrey said the goal is to ultimately expand wireless access to the entire Capitol.

Wireless Internet had previously only been available in the Legislative Plaza across the street from the Capitol.
