The Rotary Club of Memphis Central will meet Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chickasaw Country Club, 3395 Galloway Ave. Deborah Clubb, executive director of the Memphis Women’s Council, will speak. Cost is $25 for guests. For reservations, call Karen Shea at 683-9099.

IRIS Orchestra will hold a fundraiser and silent auction Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Memphis College of Art, Downtown Campus, 477 S. Main St. Guests will be treated to an advance preview of “Time for Three,” and the artwork of Jill Wissmiller will be featured. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. The Tennessee Beta Unit of Parliamentarians will hold its monthly meeting and educational program Monday at 6 p.m. at the Poplar-White Station Branch Library, 5094 Poplar Ave.

The International Business Council of the Greater Memphis Chamber will host a forum titled “China – The New Frontier for Export” Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Panelists will provide an understanding of the market and business language/culture in China, the demand for goods to be imported into China and how to access the markets.
